Yellow Dahlia

How pretty are these little mini floral paintings? There are three floral mini paintings in this series of Monet’s Autumn Garden. They look great together as a trio or individually to add pretty art to a small space on your wall.

As with the other paintings in this botanical series I used a natural linen canvas for the surface of the art piece but the Bright Yellow ink color in the Dahlia flower has a vibrancy that stands out against the foliage background. I took the liberty to make the background abstract and more colorful than the other two mini floral paintings. I have to say I am loving the color palette, and the interesting shapes against the bright Yellow flower.
