Red Dahlia

How pretty are these little mini floral paintings? There are three floral mini paintings in this series of Monet’s Autumn Garden. They look great together as a trio or individually to add pretty art to a small space on your wall.

As with the other paintings in this botanical series I used a natural linen canvas for the surface of the art piece but the Deep Red ink color in the Dahlia flower has glorious intensity. The Green foliage color hue is pushed back a little so the Red Dahlia flower can shine in all her glory. You see why Dahlia flowers are one of my favorite flowers?
