Autumn Garden

A trip to Claude Monet’s garden in Giverny, France was the inspiration my latest series of botanical floral paintings. The garden is so lovely it is bound to inspire any lover of flowers and gardens( and I am one of them). To achieve a nostalgic feel in my alcohol ink painting I have used a natural linen canvas for the surface of the art piece. Just like you can’t stop a flower from blooming the saturated color of the inks no doubt come through even on the Natural color canvas in this painting. The pop of floral color of the flowers are perfectly paired with the neutral canvas in the negative space the shades of Green in the foilage.  Perfect wall art to add a little color to your home as you think about the connection and wonderment of nature in our lives.
