Desert in Spring

Nothing so beautiful as Spring bloom in the desert. The rain in Winter of 2023 brought a beautiful bloom season to the local Southern California desert. Here in this mixed medium artwork I am trying to convey the Oranges and Pink colors of the desert sunset. Doodling in acrylic paint markers the foliage, and sky of a desert scene. The center focal point includes a little hummingbird that is so prevalent in our area and provide endless entertainment for birders.  Hope this artwork evokes the beauty of the desert and you dream of a warm place like this on a cool Winter day. This ORIGINAL artwork size is  12″ X 9″ and matted in Black to 15″x 11″.
